Let’s face it, cleaning your car isn’t something which tops the list of exciting activities. Then again, it is also something which absolutely needs to be done.

From a safety perspective, you need to be able to see through the windows. And you certainly want the inside of the car to be clutter-free to relax you while you’re driving and keep the car a lovely place to be.

Here at Hertz Rent2Buy, we love everything to do with motoring. Here are a few little gems we’ve come up with.

Get someone else to do it

This is probably the number one option for most of us out there. If you can afford it, have a professional clean your car. It will come up shining, smell immaculate, be safe to drive and you won’t have to raise a finger yourself to get the job done.

The costs of this approach are there, and might be unpalatable to some drivers though. In which case…

Clean the car with the family

If you have to clean the car yourself, then you might as well have some fun while you are doing it. Perhaps doing the job could be a great way to entertain the kids for an hour. Getting them out in the sun could be a superb way to get a bit of fresh air and tick some tasks off the list at the same time. Obviously, keep them safe and away from any harmful chemicals and follow all the relevant health and safety guidance.

Wait for a rainstorm

An even more cunning approach to cleaning your car is to get the weather to do it. If you live in a rainy place, then the chances are it’s never that long before damp, dark clouds come in. To stop them dampening your spirits, think about how shiny and clean your car will look after the downpour.

For sure, if you’re booking a used car for a 5-day test drive, you’ll find the car clean and you won’t need to do it yourself. So, give us a call anytime, or check out our website to see our vehicles.
