It’s pointless to downplay the specter of the term "road safety" because it comprises almost every aspect of traveling by car. There’s absolutely no way for us to cover everything, but we can do our best to point out the 3 main phases of road safety and their impact.

1. Safe vehicles

This is pretty much in the hands of car manufacturers across the globe. Luckily, they seem to be trying their best to improve car safety by implementing all sorts of advanced features. What we have at our disposal nowadays is truly impressive. The Adaptive cruise control keeps a safe distance from the vehicle in front of us. Lane control prompts the car and the driver to stay within the boundaries of the lane. The only drawback here is that many used cars lack those features and aren’t as safe. However, ex-fleet cars sold by licensed companies are usually not very old, have fewer miles, and might still include the fancy semi-autonomous driving features.

2. Safe Drivers

This is a somewhat sensitive topic because nobody wants to admit that they might not be the best driver. Unfortunately, in some countries, there are many shady ways to obtain a driver's license, and this puts so many people in danger. Drivers need the proper training and examination to be granted a permit. The easy way is the wrong way.

3. Safe Roads

And finally, here’s something that every government needs to take seriously. Infrastructure and regulations are the two main factors that determine the level of safety of the road itself. First of all, there need to be no holdbacks when it comes to constructing quality roads using quality materials. Long-lasting and dependable infrastructure requires top class engineering and architecture. As far as regulations go, speed limit signs need to be in place, and regular traffic police control has to be present.

It is perhaps evident now that road safety doesn't' only come to the available cars for sale. It is a joint effort between drivers, manufacturers, and governments. Why risk a human's life while casually traveling by car?
