The Geneva Internationa Motor Show has been opened from 9th to 19th March, 2017.

For any motoring enthusiast, it is a key chance to check out the trends defining progress in the automotive sector.

At Hertz Rent2Buy, we are constantly on top of the latest developments, all of which will eventually float down into the automotive markets, and affect how we buy used cars, and how we drive them too.

With all this in mind, what’s new to discover?

For a start, the Honda Civic Type R has started the show. Plus, the brand new Ferrari 812 had packed a real punch with its 789 horsepower.

All of the top motoring shows represent developments at the pinnacle of the industry. By definition, these won’t feature the average tech found in the average used car in 2017.

But the newest, shiniest kit debuted at motor shows almost always makes its way in one form or another into the mass markets. So, the amazing things visible at these shows will eventually be found in the used cars you drive.

It will just take some time for the developments to drift into the mass consumer space. Therefore, by keeping an eye on top level motorshows, you can not only have fun, but also learn about new technology.
